About

Big Rude Studio is a professional recording studio owned and operated by Chase O’Neal. Designed and built by O’Neal, Big Rude Studio features a comfortable multi-room design consisting of a spacious control room, live room, lounge, and storage areas.

Big Rude Studio is very much a hybrid studio, utilizing an all-analog console (Allen & Heath GS-R24M) interfacing with Pro Tools to give our clients the best of the analog and digital realm, and allowing us the ability to mix in the box or through the console. We monitor everything through our Barefoot Footprint01 3-way monitors with MEME technology, and have an ever-changing selection of premium outboard gear, effects processors, industry-leading plug-ins, world class microphones, instruments and amplifiers on-hand.

Our mission is simple: no compromise.
You’ve spent countless hours honing your craft and developing your songs, and your recording project deserves the same time and attention to detail.

Big Rude Studio works with select clients in a very relaxing and inspiring environment to create and capture the best representation and realization of our client’s vision possible. We work with our clients to achieve the best possible sonic and performance results, every single time.

We are selective about our clients because we recognize that not every project is the right fit. When choosing a studio, engineer, producer, mixer, and mastering engineer, you are trusting other people to treat and develop your music in a manner that helps you realize your vision. It’s very important to have that trust and allow others to do what they do best. It’s also very important for us to have clients who understand what it takes to make professional recordings and act in a professional manner. It’s a synergistic relationship and everyone needs to feel good for the best end result to be obtained. If we realize that we aren’t the right fit for your project, we will refer you to other professionals in the region that we feel may be best suited to give you the results you are looking for. We only want the best for the clients who trust us with their music, and we expect the same in return.
